Telugu songs comprise an important part of the Telugu film industry. Telugu is the language of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Telugu movie industry, also called Tollywood, is the second largest film industry after Bollywood. Telugu people are very fond of telegu songs and movies as is evident from the number of cinema halls in the state of Andhra Pradesh, which is the highest in India. The Telugu movie ‘Bhakta Prahlada’ released in 1931, was the first sound film or ‘talkie’ movie of India. From then on, the Telugu movie industry grew quickly and achieved much success.
